Information you provide
We use your name, email address, Firebase account ID and any verified phone number to operate your account. We also store the posts, comments, reviews, business details, uploads and support requests you submit. Passwords are handled by Firebase Authentication and are not sent to the Delhi45 PHP API.
Public information
Published posts, comments, reviews, business descriptions and listing contact details are public. Anonymous posts hide your name publicly; the service still retains the submitting account for moderation. Do not post sensitive information about yourself or others.
Location and uploads
With your permission, listing and community-update forms use your current device location to fill an address, city and matching neighbourhood. On the website, coordinates and your network IP are sent directly to BigDataCloud for locality lookup under its privacy policy (https://www.bigdatacloud.com/privacy). The mobile app uses the device geocoding service. GPS coordinates are not stored in your Delhi45 account; the address you confirm is saved with your submission. You can deny permission and enter the address manually. Photos you upload may contain metadata; avoid uploading material that reveals information you do not want to share.
Service providers and device storage
Firebase provides email, Google and phone authentication. Phone verification is subject to Google’s authentication and anti-abuse practices. Hosting and database providers process the records needed to operate the service. Your browser stores sign-in state through the Firebase SDK and may cache public assets and pages for offline use; authenticated API responses and account pages are not cached by the service worker.
Use and protection
Information is used to provide the service, connect neighbours, prevent abuse, handle requests and moderate content. We restrict private actions to the authenticated account, use encrypted network transport on the live service and limit repeated requests.
Push notifications
Notifications are optional. When you enable them, Firebase Cloud Messaging issues a device/browser token. Delhi45 stores the token, platform and a random installation identifier to deliver local updates. Tokens are not tied to an account. Disable notifications from the same device or browser settings. Google handles push delivery.
Retention and your choices
Request account or selected-data deletion using the deletion page. Requests are reviewed by support. Records needed to investigate abuse, meet legal requirements or maintain security may be retained as required. Contact the team if you cannot access your account.
Children and policy changes
Do not submit children’s personal information or private information about another person without appropriate permission. Changes to service practices will be reflected in this policy.
