Delhi45 Community Rules, Safety & User Responsibility
A useful neighbourhood starts with respectful conversations, honest information and safe decisions. These guidelines help people and businesses use Delhi45 responsibly.
Review draft · General safety guidance. Owner and Indian legal review are required before this wording is treated as binding terms. Reading this page does not mean acceptance.
🏘️ 1. Delhi45’s purpose
Delhi45 connects neighbours with public posts, comments, reviews, local business listings, Rooms & PG, events, Lost & Found and other available tools. It provides publishing and connection facilities; a listing or advertisement is not automatically a recommendation or proof that a business has been checked.
What to do
Share useful, accurate and lawful information. Check the person, shop, dates, price and terms before acting or paying. Use the feature for its intended purpose.
What not to do
Do not describe an ordinary listing, contact badge or featured placement as a Delhi45 guarantee. An email/phone verification badge is not identity, professional-license or business-quality verification.
Practical example
Before paying a local tiffin service, confirm the menu, delivery area, total charges and cancellation terms directly with the business.
Response and important limits
We may ask for corrections or review misleading content using the available moderation and support processes.
🤝 2. Respectful conversations
Disagreement and genuine criticism are allowed. Posts, replies, reviews and business enquiries must remain respectful. Criticise the service or idea with facts, not a person’s dignity or safety.
What to do
Explain what happened, when it happened and what resolution you want. Accept that another person can disagree. Stop contacting someone who has asked you to stop.
What not to do
Do not bully, stalk, intimidate, threaten, repeatedly contact or publicly humiliate someone. Do not recruit others to abuse a person or business.
Practical example
Allowed: “I did not like this shop’s service; delivery was two days late.” Not allowed: threatening the shopkeeper or asking a group to harass them.
Response and important limits
Abusive material may be hidden or removed. Honest, fact-based criticism is not automatically removed simply because it is uncomfortable.
🗣️ 3. Personal disputes and complaints
Delhi45 is not a place to settle private disputes through threats or public shaming. It is not automatically a party to disputes between independent neighbours, tenants, landlords or businesses; its responsibilities still depend on its actual role and applicable law.
What to do
Make a factual complaint through the relevant report/support route. Keep receipts and a clear account of events. Honest and lawful reviews remain welcome.
What not to do
Do not publish private photos, phone numbers, home addresses or private chats to take revenge. Do not organise a group attack or harassment campaign.
Practical example
For a deposit dispute, explain the agreed amount and issue without posting the landlord’s identity document or family chats publicly.
Response and important limits
Privacy violations and threats may be moderated independently of the underlying dispute. Contact competent official services where the situation requires them; support is not an emergency response service.
🪪 4. Identity and impersonation
Present your identity and any business relationship honestly. Do not pretend to be a government office, another shop, a professional or Delhi45 support. Clearly disclosed parody or fan content is not automatically impersonation, provided it is otherwise lawful and does not deceive.
What to do
Use a business name and photo you are entitled to use. Clearly explain whether you are the owner, an authorised representative, a fan or a commentator.
What not to do
Do not copy another person’s photos/logo to mislead, create fraudulent accounts, invent qualifications or use new accounts to evade valid restrictions.
Practical example
A clearly labelled neighbourhood fan page must not ask for money while claiming to be an official municipal office.
Response and important limits
Misleading identity claims or listings may be corrected, restricted or removed through available controls. A contact-verification badge is not proof of government ID or professional status.
💳 5. Fraud, offers and financial safety
Never share your OTP, UPI PIN, bank password or secret card details. A UPI PIN is not needed merely to receive money. Scanning a payment QR or accepting a collect request can lead to a payment; read the screen carefully.
What to do
Check the business, recipient name, availability, invoice and written terms before paying. Be cautious about advances, unfamiliar links, fake customer-care calls and people posing as delivery staff.
What not to do
Do not publish fake discounts, false availability, forged invoices/payment screenshots, fraudulent investments or guaranteed-income claims. Do not pressure users to pay before giving truthful information.
Practical example
“Enter your PIN to receive a refund” or “pay now for guaranteed daily profit” is a serious warning sign. Confirm through the bank/payment provider’s genuine channel.
Response and important limits
Report suspicious content through its Report option or Contact & feedback. Contact your payment provider/competent authority promptly for a suspected financial crime. Delhi45 cannot promise to reverse or refund every independent payment.
🏪 6. Businesses, listings and advertising
Businesses must give accurate names, addresses, contact details, prices, availability and service descriptions. State delivery, warranty, return, cancellation and other relevant terms honestly. Necessary licences and permissions depend on the product, service, location and law and remain the business’s responsibility.
What to do
Keep room rent, deposit, utility charges and available-from dates current. Event organisers should state the venue, dates, capacity and actual booking arrangement. Clearly identify paid promotions where applicable.
What not to do
Do not use fake photos, unauthorised copied descriptions, invented customer reviews or misleading claims. Do not disguise an advertisement as an independent recommendation.
Practical example
A repair shop should explain inspection and spare-part charges before work. A landlord should not advertise an occupied room as immediately vacant.
Response and important limits
Inaccurate or misleading listings can be hidden or corrected through available moderation. Paid/featured placement is not quality assurance; customers should independently check offers.
🚫 7. Prohibited and regulated products/services
Do not offer, seek or promote unlawful goods or services. Illustrative prohibited examples include illegal narcotics; illegally supplied arms, ammunition, explosives or prohibited weapons; stolen goods; counterfeits/pirated goods; unlawfully obtained ID documents or personal data; stolen banking information or unauthorised account access; human trafficking, exploitation or unlawful sexual services; protected wildlife/prohibited wildlife products; fraudulent medicines, unauthorised medical products and fraudulent financial services.
What to do
Check product-specific legal requirements and any approved Delhi45 restrictions before listing. Licences, age limits, advertising restrictions and location-specific rules may apply.
What not to do
Do not assume every medicine, financial product, weapon or age-restricted product is illegal—or that a licence automatically makes it acceptable on every platform. Do not sell or promote an age-restricted product in violation of law or approved platform rules.
Practical example
A lawful pharmacy listing is different from selling counterfeit medicines. A valid shop registration does not authorise every controlled product.
Response and important limits
This list is illustrative, not a complete legal or platform catalogue. Proposed product-specific limits in this draft need approval; unlawful offers may be removed/referred through the applicable process.
📣 8. Spam and misleading marketing
Honest business promotion is welcome when it follows the available feature rules. Keep messages relevant and avoid overwhelming neighbours with repeated or deceptive promotions.
What to do
Post useful offer details once in the appropriate place. Respect requests to stop contact and correct expired or duplicate offers.
What not to do
Do not send unsolicited bulk messages, mass-tag people, repeatedly duplicate ads, buy fake followers/reviews or manipulate likes/views. Do not impersonate Delhi45 support or send harmful links.
Practical example
A truthful shop opening announcement is useful; repeatedly posting it in unrelated comments or using fake reviews to inflate ratings is not.
Response and important limits
Spam and manipulated content may be hidden or removed. Available feature or listing controls may be used for repeated misuse; actions depend on the evidence.
🕊️ 9. Hate, violence and threats
Do not incite violence, make serious threats, coordinate harm or target people with hatred/discrimination based on religion, caste, race, ethnicity, nationality, sex, gender, disability or other protected traits.
What to do
Discuss public issues and disagree peacefully. Give context when reporting violence or discussing discriminatory material for education, journalism, documentary work or counter-speech; that context should be considered fairly.
What not to do
Do not use debate, politics, religion or humour as an excuse to threaten a group, target a family or organise an attack.
Practical example
Discussing traffic management near a place of worship is different from calling for violence against the people who visit it.
Response and important limits
Threatening or harmful material may be removed and serious unlawful activity referred to competent authorities as appropriate. Reporting on an incident is not automatically approval of it.
🧒 10. Children’s safety
Child sexual exploitation, abusive material, grooming and attempts to solicit a child are prohibited. Children’s safety takes priority; do not provide graphic descriptions or circulate suspected abusive material.
What to do
Use the actual Report option or Contact & feedback for suspected exploitation. Provide a content link/reference and factual concern without downloading or resending abusive images. Contact competent official services for urgent danger.
What not to do
Do not expose a child’s school, address, contact details or personal images without a lawful basis and appropriate authorisation. Do not seek sexual contact or exploit a child in any way.
Practical example
Report a suspicious message targeting a child with its reference; do not repost the child’s photo and home address in a public warning.
Response and important limits
Confirmed prohibited material may be removed/restricted and relevant matters referred to competent authorities under applicable law. Do not assume automatic detection or an immediate response to every report.
🔒 11. Private information and consent
Doxxing means exposing someone’s private identifying information so others can target them. Do not publish someone’s address, phone, ID documents, financial details, private conversations or intimate/private images without a lawful basis and appropriate permission.
What to do
Share only what is necessary and lawful. Check profile visibility and the information included in public posts/listings. Obtain appropriate permission and consider the rights of everyone affected.
What not to do
Do not request OTPs, PINs or passwords, trick people into giving information, threaten intimate-image exposure or assume consent alone resolves every privacy issue.
Practical example
A public shop contact supplied by its owner is different from posting a customer’s Aadhaar image or home address in a dispute.
Response and important limits
Report privacy concerns with the content reference through support. Public profile settings do not automatically make already published posts or externally shared copies private. This guide does not replace the Privacy Policy.
🖼️ 12. Photos, videos, copyright and trademarks
Use photos, text, video links, music and logos only with the necessary rights or a valid applicable legal exception. Giving credit does not always mean permission has been granted. A public social-media link does not transfer ownership or all republication rights.
What to do
Use your own business photos or properly licensed material. Keep evidence of permission and clearly describe sources and context where relevant.
What not to do
Do not copy another shop’s logo or photos to mislead customers, publish intimate material without consent, or assume that every externally linked video is guaranteed to play.
Practical example
Photograph your own repair work instead of copying a competitor’s before/after photos and presenting them as yours.
Response and important limits
Send copyright/trademark concerns through Contact & feedback with the exact link, rights affected and sufficient explanation. Relevant legal exceptions and context should be assessed; no automatic infringement finding is promised.
✅ 13. False information and misleading claims
Separate facts, opinions, uncertain reports and advertisements. Do not deliberately deceive with fake official announcements, false emergency alerts, manipulated media, misleading health claims, guaranteed financial returns or incorrect prices/availability.
What to do
Check reliable sources, retain context and correct genuine mistakes promptly. For urgent or high-stakes information, check the competent official source before relying on a community post.
What not to do
Do not present a rumour, fabricated quote, old video or unproven allegation as established fact. A verification badge or high view count does not establish truth.
Practical example
An old road-closure image must not be posted as today’s official notice without checking the date and authority.
Response and important limits
Misleading content may require a correction, context or removal depending on the facts. Not every incorrect statement is automatically unlawful; genuine mistakes and public-interest context should be considered fairly.
⚖️ 14. User and business responsibility
Users are responsible for their submissions and conduct. Businesses are responsible for their products/services, descriptions, prices, delivery, returns, permissions and legal-compliance claims where applicable. Verify important information independently before a decision or payment.
What to do
Agree clear written terms directly with the relevant person/business, keep records and check significant claims. Independent arrangements may be between those parties rather than Delhi45.
What not to do
Do not claim Delhi45 guarantees every seller, buyer, listing, advertisement, review or statement. Do not describe this guide as excluding all platform responsibility.
Practical example
For a room rental, check the owner/agent, inspect the room and record rent, utility charges, deposit and refund terms before paying.
Response and important limits
Delhi45’s obligations depend on its actual role, services, representations, agreements and applicable law. Nothing here excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded, including relevant consumer/privacy rights or platform duties.
🛡️ 15. Data security and cyber incidents
Protect your password, device and sign-in information. Delhi45 seeks to apply appropriate technical and organisational safeguards. No internet-connected system can guarantee absolute security; a disclaimer is not proof of particular security controls or legal compliance.
What to do
Use a strong, unique password where password sign-in is used, protect OTPs, sign out on shared devices and report suspected unauthorised access through Contact & feedback or the existing support email.
What not to do
Do not attack the service, try unauthorised account access, distribute harmful files or disclose another person’s credentials. Do not assume the platform has zero responsibility for a breach or that data can never be hacked.
Practical example
If an unexpected account change appears, use the genuine account-recovery/support route rather than giving an unknown caller your OTP.
Response and important limits
Incidents may require investigation, protective action and notifications required by applicable law. Responsibility depends on the facts, safeguards, agreements and Delhi45’s role. This guide makes no claim of an independent audit, particular encryption, daily backups or continuous monitoring.
📋 16. Account, listing and business actions
Action depends on the facts, evidence, policy, available service processes and applicable law. Existing moderation can hide/remove posts or hide listings. Support may communicate a warning or request a correction; a report alone is not proof of misconduct.
What to do
Read any notice carefully and give a factual response or correction request through support. Any wider feature restriction, temporary suspension or permanent Delhi45 account closure requires the relevant supported process and lawful basis.
What not to do
Do not evade valid restrictions or threaten complainants. Delhi45 cannot cancel a government-issued ID or automatically close Facebook, X, Google, bank or other third-party accounts.
Practical example
A misleading business post may be hidden while its owner is asked to correct the price. This does not invalidate the owner’s Aadhaar or close their bank account.
Response and important limits
Serious unlawful activity may be referred to a competent authority where appropriate. Not every policy breach leads to a legal case. Non-excludable user rights remain protected.
🚩 17. Reports and requests for review
Use the available Report action on a post/listing or the user-report option where shown. Post reports can use the dedicated report form; other concerns can reach the existing support/complaint form. Submission can require sign-in and the existing service terms. You may also contact bluedotcom@gmail.com.
What to do
Include the exact public link/record reference, date, a factual account and relevant screenshots that are lawful to share. Ask for a moderation correction/review through Contact & feedback with the original reference and reasons.
What not to do
Do not submit knowingly false or retaliatory reports, unnecessary ID documents, passwords, PINs or OTPs. Do not upload or resend suspected child-abuse material or private intimate images as evidence.
Practical example
“Listing link … showed ₹500 on Monday; attached is the relevant quote with unrelated personal details covered” is more useful than abuse or a public harassment campaign.
Response and important limits
Review requests currently go through support; there is no separate self-service appeal tracker here. Receipt is not a promise of immediate review or a particular outcome. For immediate danger use emergency services, not a waiting platform complaint.
📜 18. Legal and policy notice
Follow applicable law and Delhi45’s approved policies. This is Delhi45’s own community-safety guide, not a policy of another social network and not an assertion of affiliation, endorsement or verified legal compliance.
What to do
Read the existing Terms, Privacy Policy and relevant service conditions. This review draft must be approved by the Delhi45 owner and an appropriate Indian legal professional before being treated as binding terms.
What not to do
Do not assume viewing this page means acceptance, that a disclaimer overrides statutory rights/duties, or that every violation carries an automatic legal penalty.
Practical example
A consumer’s non-excludable legal rights are not lost merely because a business or platform publishes a disclaimer.
Response and important limits
Serious unlawful conduct may be referred to competent authorities as appropriate to the facts and law. Approved policy changes should be communicated using available, appropriate methods. This page does not replace a full Privacy Policy or existing legal terms.
